Micom is proud to announce that we have been recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2026 by Great Place To Work®UK.

The UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list celebrates organisations that create positive workplace experiences and support employee wellbeing across all aspects of work-life balance, fulfilment, social connection, support and job satisfaction.

This recognition is particularly meaningful because it is based on anonymous feedback from our people.

At Micom, employee wellbeing is not defined by a single programme or initiative. It is shaped by the actions, support and community spirit demonstrated by colleagues across the business every day.

At Micom, employee wellbeing is not defined by a single programme or initiative.

Over the past 12 months, our teams have come together to support one another and make a positive impact both inside and outside the workplace. This has included fundraising for causes such as Surfers Against Sewage, Mind, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Zanzibar School of Hope, Baby Godiva and Amelia's Birthday Wish, alongside activities that promote connection and wellbeing throughout the year.

Colleagues have participated in our Wellness & Self-Care Month, raising £1,000 for charity through fitness and wellbeing activities, taken part in social events including our Summer BBQ, Pancake Day celebrations and Christmas event, and celebrated Diversity Day by sharing food and traditions that represent their cultures and backgrounds.

We have also invested in Mental Health First Aid training, helping ensure colleagues have access to support when they need it.

To compile the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ List, Great Place To Work® reviewed our workplace culture, benefits, leadership and development practices, alongside anonymous employee feedback. Only organisations achieving the highest levels of employee experience earn a place on the list.

Andy Barber, CEO of Micom, said:

“We're incredibly proud to receive this recognition. What makes it special is that it reflects the experiences and feedback of our people. Over the last year we've seen colleagues support one another, raise money for important causes, celebrate our differences and build meaningful connections across the business. This award belongs to every member of the team who contributes to making Micom the place it is today.”

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK, said:

“Creating a culture of wellbeing requires deliberate leadership, strong values and consistent action that puts people first. The UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ List recognises organisations that take a genuinely holistic approach to supporting their people across mental, physical and financial health, while fostering a strong sense of belonging.

To be recognised on this list is a clear signal that wellbeing is not treated as a peripheral initiative, but as a fundamental part of organisational culture. Congratulations to Micom on this achievement and for setting a leading example for workplaces across the UK.”

This award marks Micom's latest recognition from Great Place To Work®, following inclusion in the UK's Best Workplaces™ 2026 and UK's Best Workplaces for Development™ 2026 lists.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to every colleague who has contributed to making Micom a workplace where employee wellbeing, support and connection remain at the heart of everything we do.
