Micom Technologies Ltd is committed to combating modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains. This statement outlines the steps we have taken during the financial year 2024/25 to prevent modern slavery in our organisation and supply chains, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Micom Technologies Ltd is a business communications provider based in Coventry, Warwickshire. We operate primarily in the UK and our supply chain includes suppliers of IT and development services, print consumables and marketing services.

Policies and Procedures

We have implemented the following policies and procedures to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our operations:

  • Modern Slavery Policy
  • Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Whistleblowing Policy
  • Recruitment Policy

Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

We conduct regular risk assessments of our business operations and supply chains to identify areas of heightened modern slavery risk. Our due diligence processes include:

  • Supplier questionnaires and audits
  • Background checks on new suppliers
  • Regular review of existing supplier relationships

Training, Awareness and Capacity Building

We are committed to developing and strengthening our employees’ skills and awareness surrounding modern slavery:

  • All employees receive mandatory modern slavery awareness training upon joining the company and annual refresher courses thereafter
  • Specialised in-depth training for employees in high-risk roles such as procurement, human resources, and supply chain management
  • Regular internal communications to reinforce key messages and share updates on our anti-slavery initiatives

Measuring Effectiveness

We assess the effectiveness of our anti-slavery measures through:

  • Internal audits of our policies and procedures
  • Monitoring completion rates of employee training programs
  • Tracking the number of reported concerns and how they were addressed
  • Supplier compliance with our Code of Conduct

Looking Ahead
